Freakonomics: "Why Is My Life So Hard?"
March 20th, 2017Freakonomics is a podcast in my rotation these days, and it is always interesting. It is created by Stephen J Dubner. He is an easy-to-like host. This podcast stood out among the recent ones (and not just because of the fantastic use of a relatable and rhetorical question in the title).
It covers many psychology topics that are well known among psychologists and that I have seen in a couple books I have worked through. Regardless of how well known they are, the ideas are much needed reminders of how our brains work.
It helped remind me how many things I have going for me, and let me be grateful, if only for a short while. I hope the half-an-hour podcast will do for you what it did to me.
